The People Power Revolution is remarkable to our present society because it showed icon democracy of the late president Corazon Aquino.
For president Cory Aquino’s contribution to our country is the lesson of the first EDSA People Power Revolution. That the people can unite for freedom and democracy to our country. She ended the dictatorship of former president Ferdinand Marcos. The performers where portrayed in the musicale by performing very well their role as part of the EDSA and they showed their loved to our country
One of the dictatorship is president Ferdinand Marcos when he declared the Martial Law because he wants power to our country. Adolf Hitler from Germany and Emperor Hirohito from Japan both of them the imposed supremacy, desire for ultimate power and dictatorship like Marcos. The three men wanted to fulfill their visions to handled their country for long term of position.
After People Power Revolution the changes/development in our economy that there is peace and freedom, it helps our countrymen build up hope and start a new life. Martial Law is gone, peace, progress and unified revolution had come up.
After watching the musical I felt grateful and honored because it shows the play opened our eyes to see what’s happening to our country during the EDSA. Finally I understand the things that happened in our history and how it is exactly happened. The musicale is very detail, commentable and worth watching because it shows how Corazon Aquino like her husband how they dying and love for their country.
